I have a decade of experience teaching physics, social studies, and math at the high school and middle school levels. I'm comfortable tutoring students from the middle school level through adult learners. I've done a lot of prep tutoring for the GRE, SAT, and ACT, and I know many techniques and test taking skills I can provide students to help them increase their scores. I enjoy helping students realize that subjects students think are difficult are actually attainable, and they can be fun to learn as well. I like to build rapport with my students and then match my teaching approach to their learning style, providing explanations that are easier to understand. In my free time, I enjoy reading, modernist cooking, and running.
