Welcome everyone! My name is Steven and I have Bachelors Degrees in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, and Biology. I also have Masters Degrees in Teaching and Data Science, and have been teaching students for over 13 years. I have helped students gain the skills they need to be successful in their math and science courses at the high school and college levels.
Experience
I have over 13 years of experience teaching students in both high school and college. This has given me the ability to learn and adopt teaching strategies to help those students that struggle in their classes. Each student I tutor is unique and not every student starts from the same level or with the same skills. I meet the student at their own level and individualize their instruction to help them learn and excel in their math and science classes. I have passed some of the most difficult actuary examinations that take lots of study time, lots of math skills, strategy, speed and some luck. I will tutor you using the same skills and strategies that got me through some of the most difficult math tests. I will take you through strategies that you will probably not learn from your instructor, and definitely not from a text book. These same strategies will help you get through many of your standardized tests.
