I'm a math tutor, and I love this work. It's rewarding to see the student go from frustrated to proud because they are understanding math better. I enjoy explaining math topics in ways that are easier to understand, helping students realize the math is not as hard as they may think. I've tutored math for 12 years, primarily working with high school level and college level students. My favorite subject to tutor is algebra, but I can also tutor elementary and middle school level math, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, non-Euclidean geometry, applied math, and math related test preparation for the GRE, SAT, ACT, and other assessment exams. When I have free time, I enjoy reading Garfield, doing word puzzles and brainteasers, and attending concerts.
